Nitish Mirchandani
Program Officer
Nitish Mirchandani joined FMC in 2026 as a Program Officer with the Congressional Study Group on India.
Prior to joining FMC, he received his Master of Global Policy from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin. He also holds an M.A. In International Studies from the University of North Texas and a B.A. In Political Science from Rutgers University. His previous work experiences include internships at the Department of Defense, the U.S. Department of State, The Chamberlain Network, and on political campaigns. He speaks Hindi/Urdu, Marathi, Sindhi, Spanish, and Japanese.
In his free time, he enjoys watching football (Hook 'Em!) & cricket, reading fantasy & murder mystery novels, cooking, and writing poetry.
