Nanako Kondo
Program Officer
Nanako Kondo joined FMC as a Program Officer in June 2025. She graduated from George Washington University with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communications and a minor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Nanako has held roles at several mission-driven organizations, including Affordable Homes & Communities (AHC), where she created multimedia content for social media, newsletters, and digital campaigns, and analyzed performance data to support strategic outreach.
She also interned with the Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies (APAICS), a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) participation and representation at all levels of government. At APAICS, Nanako contributed to major events and leadership initiatives that fostered dialogue between policymakers, corporate leaders, and community advocates.
Originally from Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, Nanako now lives in Northern Virginia. In her free time, she enjoys singing, dancing, and playing the piano.
