Miles Monaco
Development Operations Manager
Miles Monaco re-joined FMC full-time in June 2025. Previously, he was a project manager at The National Bureau of Asian Research (NBR), a DC based think-tank where he conducted national security related research sponsored by the U.S. Department of Defense's Defense Threat Reduction Agency. Prior to NBR, he worked for Aflac Inc. as an international affairs analyst for their international public policy department. Miles first worked at FMC from 2019-2021, with a focus on FMC's Japan portfolio.
Miles was born and raised in the Boston area, while spending his summers in Japan with his family. He is bilingual in English and Japanese. He holds a B.A. in International Studies from American University. While there he studied abroad in Seoul, South Korea, attending Yonsei University.
