Gopika Ramesh
Roundglass India Fellow
Gopika Ramesh is the Roundglass India Fellow at FMC. She graduated cum laude from the American University School of International Service with a major in International Studies focusing on Foreign Policy and Global Development, and a minor in Information Systems and Technology in May 2022. She wrote her capstone analyzing an NGO in India that focuses on promoting gender equality and justice through the process of awareness and sensitization.
Previously, she was a project associate at DAI Global, an implementing partner for USAID, where she worked on a $75 million project supporting the expansion of sustainable agriculture-led economic growth across Afghanistan. Before that, she worked as a program coordinator at MCID Washington. MCID is a national programming agency that implements the State Department-funded International Visitor Leadership Program, a program focused on professional exchange and diplomacy.
Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, reading thriller novels, traveling, and volunteering as an Astronomy Educator at the National Air and Space Museum.
