Panel Events at the National Archives
Congress to Community was created after the June 2010 Bipartisan Conference at the National Archives. Recognizing the increasingly poisonous way that politics in the United States was being conducted, a bipartisan group created the project to call for more civility in our political dialogue. With a continuing need for a more civil political dialogue, FMC has begun to expand its outreach on this vital issue, continuing the goal of teaching about Congress and strengthening representative democracy. Events in support of Congress to Community have been held in conjunction with the National Archives in Washington and throughout the country, in an attempt to foster bipartisan understanding.
