Lorraine Harbison
Programs Director

Lorraine Harbison joined FMC in March 2015 as the International Programs and Events Fellow and now serves full-time as Programs Director.

She received her Master of Arts in International Relations with Merit from the University of Westminster in London. While studying abroad in London, Ms. Harbison participated in European Union simulations. This included the European Parliament Simulation Game of 2012, orchestrated by the London European Parliament Information Office, where she was awarded an honorable mention for her efforts.

She also attended the University of Mary Washington in Virginia where she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Arts dual degree in International Affairs and in Spanish. As an undergraduate, Lorraine took part in a summer Spanish language and cultural exchange program at the Universidad de Deusto in Bilbao, Spain.

Lorraine is a native of the Washington, DC area but also has close family ties to the United Kingdom. This foothold on both sides of the Atlantic has inspired her to pursue a career in International Relations with a focus on the Transatlantic Relationship and European Union politics.
